These following statements regarding Jesus are generally indisputable.. Jesus lived. Jesus suffered. Jesus died.
If one was to begin at the beginning, desiring to emulate this Jesus Christ, without making too many assumptions or accepting unverifiable claims, one could possibly start with the formula of life → suffering → death.
Life – Yeah! Let’s do it!
Suffering – …
Death – Inevitable, no? Not looking forward to it, but then again..
Isn’t there life after death?
Why are you asking me? I haven’t died.
What could be said about life after death if one has not died?
You could say it is unimaginable.
That isn’t very helpful though.
Instead, you could say life after death is not impossible.
Ultimately though, you would just have to see for yourself.
We could also just say nothing about it.
However, it wouldn’t seem wise to totally forget about death (or the possibility of what comes after).
At the moment though, I am still breathing. It would seem that there is still some time left for life (suffering).
But we must die. It’s part of the formula, after all.
